Want to join an elite group of guerilla marketers at the FBLA-PBL National Leadership Conference?

The all-new NLC Buzz Squad is a team of highly visible FBLA and PBL volunteers who will spearhead all social media, crowd sourcing, and marketing functions at the NLC.

Interested applicants must be available to attend the San Antonio NLC during the following dates:

PBL: June 24-27, 2012

FBLA: June 29-July 2, 2012

National Anthem Singer
FBLA-PBL is looking for a PBL member and an FBLA member to sing the national anthem at his/her respective NLC. The deadline for receiving auditions is Friday, May 6. Please include your name, school, e-mail address, phone number, and which NLC you will be attending. Team Cybis will review all CDs and MP3s, and the person chosen will receive notification from Cybis Communications Corporation. Audition CDs will not be returned. Online registration is NOW OPEN for the 2010 National Leadership Conference (NLC)! If you are looking for Simply the Best this summer, plan to attend the National Leadership Conference (NLC) and Institute for Leaders (IFL) in Nashville, TN at the Gaylord Resort & Convention Center. Pre-registration must be entered online. Go to www.fbla-pbl.org and click Registration/Information under National Conferences to see all the exciting happenings and to register.

The dates are:
  • PBL NLC: July 9-12

  • FBLA NLC: July 14-17

Make the most of your NLC experience by taking part in the Institute for Leaders (IFL).
  • PBL IFL: July 8-9

  • FBLA IFL: July 13-14

Everything you need to start the NLC process is on our Web site. You can find promotional materials to sell the conference to your administrators, along with information in the IFL, exciting tours, graduate credit (some free), and certification tests for students and advisers (some free for advisers). We will continually update our site with more great information so check back often.

Come network, compete, interact, and have fun with other future business leaders. Don’t forget to visit the exhibits, campaign booths, and of course, MarketPlace for your souvenir and emblem items.

The 2010 NLC offers workshops on a variety of topics and provides you with Simply the Best experience.  We already have some exciting workshop presenters, and we are looking for additional ones! FBLA-PBL National Leadership Conference Silent Auction

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) education association of students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. FBLA-PBL is committed to bringing business and education together in positive working relationships which further the development of our most precious resource; our youth—and we need your help!

Each year, the best and brightest of FBLA and PBL convene to compete in business and leadership events, share their successes, and gain new ideas about shaping their future careers at our National Leadership Conference. This year’s conference is in Nashville, Tennessee at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. FBLA-PBL will be hosting a Silent Auction to benefit member and adviser recognition programs and is soliciting contributions.

Each item will display the name of the donation, description, and value.

The silent auction has been a highlight of the conference, numerous hotels, members, and advisers have donated to help support FBLA-PBL adviser and member recognition programs.

The 2010 NLC is where you can find workshops that offer a variety of topics that will provide you with Simply the Best experience. Come network, compete, interact and have fun with other future business leaders. Come visit the exhibits to get information from colleges and universities, fund-raisers, technology vendors and MarketPlace.

ONLINE NLC REGISTRATION
Online registration for the NLC will open in early March through our Web site at www.fbla-pbl.org. Pre-registration must be entered online. NLC registration questions can be directed to 800-FBLA.Win. Complete your registration early to take advantage of the early bird savings.

Early bird deadline is May 28 (PBL Registration $105, FBLA Registration $95).

PBL NLC is July 9-12, and FBLA NLC is July 14-17.

INSTITUTE FOR LEADERS
Make the most of your trip to the NLC and also register for the Institute for Leaders. It’s the best way to kick your leadership skills up a notch and prepare for the coming year. It held the day prior and until Noon during the first day of the NLC.

PBL IFL is July 8-9, FBLA IFL is July 13-14.

Early bird registration is May 28 (Registration fee $115 for students, $100 for candidates, and $50 for advisers).

2009 NLC Competitive Event Schedules and Finalists

Just a reminder for those participating in the NLC’s Competitive Events. Confirm that you and your fellow participants have been assigned a group and/or time by checking the schedules posted on the message boards at the 2nd and 4th Floor Registration Desks. These schedules will also be posted on the national Web site here.

TwitterAlso, you can also be notified of schedule updates by receiving updates through Twitter. (Make sure your account is set up to follow FBLA_PBL to receive the information on your mobile phone or other device.)

Listings for preliminary competition will be available after 5:00 p.m. on June 20 for PBL and June 25 for FBLA. Finalists will be posted after 10:00 p.m. on June 21 for OB on June 26 for FBLA.

Remember: Only the final rounds of performances are open to all attendees. Once a performance has begun no spectators may enter the room. All electronic devices must be off. That means, no video or audio recording devices can be used during performances. Spectators should also make sure that they adhere to the FBLA–PBL Dress Code in attending conference events.
