Donnie began his FBLA-PBL career as a charter member of Nation Ford High School FBLA in Fort Mill, SC. While attending Nation Ford, Donnie served as a two-term local officer, where he coordinated fund-raisers, raising over $10,000. Donnie also served as a state officer with SC FBLA and served our organization on a national level as the 2010-11 FBLA southern region vice president. After transitioning from high school to college at the University of South Carolina, Donnie reactivated the USC chapter of Phi Beta Lambda, where he currently serves as both chapter and state president. Donnie also serves on the March of Dimes’ National Youth Council.

Shuyun Xue is honored to serve as your 2012-2013 national secretary. Shuyun is currently a junior majoring in business management at the University of Florida. She has been involved in the organization since her freshman year of high school and she currently serves as the Florida PBL District II vice president. Shuyun looks forward to serving the members of this amazing organization and hopes that everyone will join her in a quest to “Ignite Innovation.”

Brett Harris is proud to be serving as your 2012-2013 national treasurer. Brett is a management major at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He has been actively involved with FBLA-PBL for the past five years during which he has served in numerous leadership capacities including Arkansas PBL director of marketing and public relations. Throughout his involvement in PBL, he has competed and placed nationally in Desktop Publishing and Parliamentary Procedure. He plans to obtain new national sponsorships and partnerships. Brett encourages members to contact him with any questions or ideas they may have.

Amber Kutnink is delighted to serve as your 2012-2013 national parliamentarian. Amber is currently a senior at Wayne State College where she is completing her degree in health science–chemistry with a minor in biology. Her hopes are to attend medical school upon graduation. This will be Amber’s eighth year of involvement in FBLA-PBL and she is currently serving her third year as Nebraska’s vice president of finance. She cannot wait to light a spark in members, flame the fire to reach our goals, and ultimately “Ignite Innovation.”

Amrutha Sridhar is honored to serve as the 2012-2013 PBL Eastern Region vice president. She currently attends Rutgers Business School at the Rutgers University–Newark campus in New Jersey, where she is double majoring in business management and marketing. She has been an active member of FBLA-PBL for the past five years. Amrutha has served as her local chapter president, NJ PBL secretary, and is currently the NJ PBL vice president. It has been Amrutha’s goal to one day be in a position where she can assist the organization that molded her into the confident leader she is today, by helping create the leaders of tomorrow. She looks forward to sharing her experiences and working with her fellow members to “Ignite Innovation” in the Eastern Region and beyond.

Peter Raun, originally from Minden, Nebraska, is honored to serve as your 2012-2013 Mountain Plains Region vice president. He is a senior at the University of Nebraska–Omaha, majoring in management information systems with an emphasis on IT audit and control. Peter has been involved with FBLA-PBL since his freshman year of high school, and began his PBL journey as a virtual chapter member before activating the chapter at the University of Nebraska–Omaha. He is currently serving his second term as Nebraska PBL state president. Peter is excited about the upcoming year and looks forward to “Igniting Innovation” in 2012-2013.

The 2012-2013 North Central Region vice president is Stephanie Boardman. Stephanie is a sophomore at the University of Northern Iowa where she is double majoring in marketing and public relations. Along with serving as NCRVP, Stephanie is also the Iowa PBL state secretary and her chapter secretary. Stephanie started her career in FBLA-PBL when she was a freshman at Winterset High School. While in FBLA she held offices at the local and state level, and won Who’s Who in Iowa her senior year. Stephanie looks forward to strengthening communication throughout the North Central Region and making sure the odds are in all PBL members’ favor so they can have a great year “Igniting Innovation.”

Jessica Burger is honored to serve as your 2012-2013 Southern Region vice president. Jessica is currently a student at West Georgia Technical College double-majoring in computer information systems and criminal justice technology. She started her journey with FBLA-PBL as a junior in high school and has been a member and officer in PBL for four years. Jessica has had the privilege to serve as secretary, treasurer, and vice president for her local chapter. She is also active with the March of Dimes and has served as secretary/treasurer and vice president for Georgia March of Dimes. She looks forward to increasing March of Dimes contributions and membership by “Igniting Innovation

Bryan Poulsen, PBL Western Region Vice-President

Bryan Poulsen is a senior computer information technology student at Dixie State College of Utah. He joined FBLA-PBL during his senior year of high school. Bryan currently serves as the Utah PBL webmaster and is president of his local chapter. He placed second in Web Site Design at the 2011 NLC and third at the 2010 NLC. He sits as a member on the Dixie State social media, marketing, and web committees as a student representative. He looks forward to working with members of PBL and strengthening recruitment and retention programs.
